THE GAME OF REALITY
The Game of Reality

"The simulacrum is never that which conceals the truth—it is the truth which conceals that there is none. The simulacrum is true."

We live in a world woven from symbols and signs, where human experience presents itself as a simulation of reality. These simulacra, complex and multi-layered, do not merely reflect or distort actuality. They do not deceive us by presenting a false picture of the world; instead, they conceal a deeper truth: the primacy of reality has vanished, yielding to a new understanding of actuality. The shadow becomes more convincing than the very object that cast it.

In this game of reality, where each of us is simultaneously a player and a spectator, we perceive the world through the prism of human senses and experience. But what if this very reality, filtered through subjective perception, is closer to the truth than the so-called "real" one? Perhaps it is this reality—with its emotions, experiences, and interpretations—that conveys the very essence of being, those profound sensations that remain inaccessible to a mere statement of facts.

In this simulation, we are not merely passive observers. We are creators and makers, shaping the reality around us through our own interpretations and symbolic representations. And this reality we have created, however illusory it may seem, becomes the only world in which we live and feel. It is in this world, where the shadow eclipses the object, and the simulacrum becomes more truthful than reality, that we find meaning and purpose.
