Nikita Chernoritskiy (born 1999) - Artist, Director, Curator
(NIK CHERNORITSKIY)
Author of the «SKITALTSY» project and the film projects «SKITALTSY production» and
«NIK CHERNORITSKIY production».
In 2017, he graduated with honors from the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum of the Russian Academy of Arts. Currently, he is studying in the workshop of Aidan Salakhova — Aidan Studio (Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute).
From 2017 to the present, he has held a number of solo exhibitions/projects in Russia and abroad, including at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA), the Multimedia Art Museum Moscow (MAMM), the PK Museum, and the White Room Foundation.
He has participated in several group exhibitions and projects.
He has created numerous video works (short films, video art, music videos), including music videos for the bands «OQJAV» and «YORYAL».
Since 2020, he has been a member of artists' unions (MOKH, TSKHR).
His works are in museum and private collections in Russia, France, and Lithuania.
Nikita Chernoritskiy explores the borderline states of humanity. The artist focuses on human feelings and conditions through the rejection of determined space. The objects of research are often expressed in recurring characters and objects that begin to communicate with each other, building their own universe. Chernoritskiy uses various media for independent exploration of self-expression, regardless of material and method.
