SECRETLY

The project presents the works of seven very different artists—both well-known and established, as well as those at the beginning of their careers. What unites them is something more substantial than adherence to a particular type of art or belonging to a single artistic movement or social circle. This common denominator can be described as a sensitivity to the mysterious,
to the non-obvious, subtle, and intuitive levels of today’s reality, mediated by myriads of digital filters that increasingly distance us from the sense of genuine, immediate being.

The works, temporarily displayed here as objects and images—from sculpture and painting
to drawings and photography—open up the mental space of individuals who encounter
the unknown at the borders of otherness. In times of fundamental doubt about humanity,
they connect the viewer with memories and fears, with the ritual and mystical experiences
of everyday life, with the living relics of antiquity and the remnants of futurological models
of the universe, as well as with the paradoxes of language, dreams, and reveries.
By organizing the chaos of consciousness and revealing fragments of strange beauty in this world, they become symbolic keys that initiate us into the mystery.

Curator: Anastasia Artemova
Participants: Dashi Namdakov, Dmitry Kolistratov, Ivan Korshunov, Oleg Ivashchenko,
Anton Kuznetsov, Anastasia Artemova, Nikita Chernoritsky.
