West Bund Art & Design in Shanghai was founded in 2013. Then it was a boutique and very selective event, which has now grown to become the largest art fair in the world. The exhibition contains collections of the world’s leading art galleries. Also at the stand were presented three works of the famous Russian sculptor Dashi Namdakov, born in Transbaikalia. The language of the Buryat master, brought up by the Russian academic school, is understandable and extremely in demand by the world community due to the fact that mystically Dashi feels living ties with ancient civilizations and a huge layer of common human culture, while he brilliantly speaks the plastic language of professional art and is a fully modern person.
